Lorna commenced her adjusting career as an independent adjuster with
Geoff Nuthall Adjusters Ltd in 1985; leaving in 1992 she joined The
Royal Insurance Company as a staff adjuster.
She returned to the independent ranks in 1994 and opened her own
independent adjusting firm in 1996.
Lorna has had extensive claims experience in property losses, both
personal and commercial, liability claims as well as fidelity
losses. For the past 10 years she has focused on automobile claims
for both private insurers and the Insurance Corporation of British
Columbia as well as Law Firms in the area of trial preparation.
In addition, her skills as an investigator are called upon on a
regular basis by the local transit authority as well insurers for
her fraud investigation ability.
Lorna completed the Justice Institute of BC Mediation training and
continues her education on many fronts by way of the Insurance
Institute of British Columbia as well various educational seminars
and conferences.
Lorna was very active with the British Columbia Insurance Adjusters
Association and Canadian Insurance Professionals of Vancouver for
many years, serving on the executive of both associations and
concluding as President of both. Lorna also chaired the ‘Christmas
In June’ Charitable organization, which raised funds for the Food
Banks in local communities.
